Hockeyball & Soccerball

Despite being around for decades now Hockey and Soccer haven’t still really haven'y caught on with American fans. And the essential reason is that Americans like team sports with the term “ball” in it.  Think about the great success of Baseball, Football, and Basketball in the American lexicon while Hockey and Soccer are still second class citizens in most quadrants.  Soccer is hugely popular internationally due to being known as “Football” naming.  So from this day forward Hockey will now be known as “HockeyBall”, and Soccer will be known as SoccerBall. In addition, the Hockey Puck will now be known as a “PuckBall”

When experts were asked why Hockey is huge in Canada, it’s native home, without the word “ball” in it’s title, they just attributed it to Canada being a bunch of off-beat freaks.  They don’t really have guns up there either, and they offer socialized medicine so what do you expect?

Other sports interested in furthering it’s popularity with the “Ball” moniker include Boxing which will now be known as “Boxingball”, Horse Racing which will become “Horse Racingball”, and of course the newly renamed,- “NascarBall”
