Jerry and Jeremy
OK, just got back from watching "Julie and Julia" (Chick Flick alert. OK, the mother in-law's in town, and I wanted to treat her and the wife to a movie I thought they'd like. Unfortunately they weren't crazy about the movie, and while I too was not too enamored of it, I believe it taught a good lesson. And that is, by blogging to a bunch of random people about your relationship with a famous person's work you too can become famous. Well I'm hooked. God knows I was born to be famous so I figure this is my in. Now in the movie this girl Julie Powell blogs about how she's going to cook every recipe from Julia Child's famous cookbook in 1 years time. And during that time she creates a loyal following, and achieves her dream of becoming a famous writer, and even has this movie done about her. Well here's my angle, I'm going to blog about how I'm going to do a joke from Jerry Seinfeld's act every day for 365 days, either that or quote a famous line from "Seinfeld".
Then I'll blog about it. You and millions of others will read it, and at the end I'll be hugely famous, but of course Jerry Seinfeld will dismiss me as some idiot who's suckling off his fame. So what? Who cares? Ever hear of Kato Kalin? Of course you have. That's the point. Sure Kato was a no talent Hack, but he rode that OJ murder trial thing to the pinnacle of world wide fame. Sure he's a punch line now, but he's a punch line you've heard of Anyway I digress. So here's the first one, "What's the deal with the Sock hangars?" There, done. 1 down 364 to go. God I feel good. Fame here we come. Oh, and I want Sandler to play me in the movie. Or better yet, I'll pull a Stern and play myself.
